To all volunteers:

The Board of Sarasota Forest Monastery (SFM) is so appreciative of your help with the fundraising event at DeSoto Acres Yard Sales. Thanks to your hard work, we added $3,200 to SFM funds. We couldn’t have gotten those amazing results without your help.

You brought in the goods for the good people of Sarasota to choose from. You donated your time and efforts, not to mention personal funds, to see it though that the event was perfect. If anyone was hungry for delicious authentic Thai food, you got it covered! That was a delightful treat for all of us.

Not only did you contribute to DeSoto Acres Yard Sales Fundraising Event, allowing everyone to enjoy those great Thai food and shopping, but you are also a part of our monastery. We are honored that you chose to help us carry out our mission.

All proceeds were donated to SFM for the continuing efforts to build and to maintain the practice of Buddhism in the Thai Forest Tradition. It was a win-win situation.

คณะกรรมการของวัดป่าซาราโซต้า (SFM) รู้สึกซาบซึ้งในความช่วยเหลือของคณะจิตอาสาในงานขายสินค้าและอาหารที่ DeSoto Acres Yard Sales เพราะความเข้มแข็งในการทํางานของอาสาสมัครทุกท่าน ทางวัดมีเงินเพิ่มขึ้นมา ๓๒๐๐ เหรียญสหรัฐฯ เราจะไม่สามารถได้รับผลลัพธ์ที่น่าทึ่งเหล่านี้ได้หากปราศจากความช่วยเหลือจากจิตอาสาทุกท่าน

คุณนําสินค้ามาให้ผู้คนทางตอนเหนือของซาราโซตาและบริเวณใกล้เคียงได้เลือกซื้อหา คุณบริจาคเวลาและแรงงานของคุณ รวมทั้งทุนทรัพย์ส่วนตัวเพื่อให้งานสำเร็จสมบูรณ์แบบ หากใครหิวอาหารไทยต้นตํารับแสนอร่อยคุณก็มีให้รับประทานกัน ซึ้งใจจริง ๆ

จิตอาสาไม่เพียงแต่มีส่วนร่วมในกิจกรรมหารายได้ด้วยการขายสินค้าและ ทําให้ทุกคนได้เอร็ดอร่อยกับอาหารไทยแท้ ๆ เท่านั้น ในขณะเดียวกันคุณยังเป็นส่วนหนึ่งที่สำคัญของวัดเราด้วย คณะกรรมการรู้สึกเป็นเกียรติอย่างยิ่งที่คุณเลือกที่จะช่วยในการปฏิบัติภารกิจของวัดป่าซาราโซต้าของเรา

จิตอาสาได้มอบรายได้ทั้งหมดให้กับ SFM โดยไม่หักค่าใช้จ่าย เพื่อทะนุบำรุงวัดอย่างต่อเนื่องในการสร้างและบำรุงสถานที่ เพื่อความเหมาะสมในปฏิบัติธรรมทางพระพุทธศาสนาในแบบวัดป่าของไทย การกระทำของท่านเป็นการชนะในทุกมุมมอง
